The author for this ad is the brand Always. Their purpose if to make women feel empowered and good about themselves despite what people say. The audience is really to everyone. For ethos, in the commercial, it is the girls talking about how degrading certain things are that men say to them and how a girl should do things. For pathos, the commercial appeals to emotions by showing kids even at a very young age to show how these event affect them as well. For logos, there were facts and logic on how many girls don't feel good about themselves. This commercial is very incredible because the directors bring in people of teenage years and ask them to do certain things the way a "girl" does such as running like a girl or fighting like a girl. They all do the same thing which is they all are dramatic and exaggerate the way they do those activities. Then they bring out younger girls and ask them the same thing, this time the girls run as fast as they can and fight as hard as they can fight. The commercial is trying to show what saying things like "run like a girl", and "fight like a girl" and etc does to women from a young age.
